"Definitely one of my top five restaurants in town. Can’t go wrong with this place. Amazing portion sizes, great selection of meats for tacos, burritos, tortas, sopes, and quesadillas, authentic Mexican flavours, and that killer red sauce . I’ve been here so many times than I can remember and I always make it a point to visit here if I’m around. A must try if you haven’t. They also offer a free taco if you wear their tshirt (not sure if they still do it, but we got a taco one time for free). The only wait time is the long line to the counter for your order. The orders are typically ready within 5 minutes."

"Wow! You can tell by the line out the door that you came to the right place! They move people through the line quickly and efficiently. The food is freshly made and delicious. My husband had the steak and Mexican sausage burrito all the way. For $11, it can't be beat. Except for my tacos. You know a Mexican place is legit when they have tongue and beef face tacos. They were so good. They were between $3.20 & $5.25."

"I go into Tacos Los Plebes like a kid with allowance entering a candy store. These are the best tacos I’ve had outside of Austin and a welcome respite from other overhyped and bland “Mexican” restaurants in town. Highly recommend any of the beef and the chorizo, which is outstanding and makes other chorizo pale in comparison. The vibes are great, neighborhoody atmosphere and my only compliant is that there aren’t more locations of Tacos Los Plebes so I drop in at every corner of Athens. Plus the prices are stupid — for $2.99 you get a giant taco with amazing flavors. Already drooling thinking of our next meal here."

"MY first time visiting and I knew as soon as I drove into the parking lot, I picked a awesome spot because the line was out the door and yet it was moving fast as I got in line. The menu is well presented with very clear signs on the wall above the cashier area, the prices are very fair and service was friendly and efficient. One thing that really stood out to be was how much meat each Asada taco I don’t think I have ever seen as generous of a serving with the street taco anywhere. Well I typically don’t go to Athens, but I will be sure to visit this place when I’m back around lunchtime in the area."
